Job Overview
The Analyst, Supply Chain Operations will facilitate supply chain activities and provide basic ERP system support. The Analyst will help support service level expectations for the customer.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor all GLC facilities on basic issues relating to inventory flow in and out of the facilities.
- Support inventory levels of finished goods at all facilities to ensure optimum service levels.
- Monitor identified aging inventories to ensure product is applied to orders appropriately.
- Basic support of order requests and short lead order changes by working with manufacturing, warehouse and transportation to ensure optimal service and efficient supply.
- Support execution of inventory allocation and work with appropriate parties regarding inventory availability.
- Monitor case fill rates and perform basic root-cause analysis taking corrective and preventative action on shortages.
- Support manufacturing teams at all locations on supply issues.
- Support operations and utilization of third party warehouse.
- Support, maintain and monitor company policies and procedures as they pertain to sales, distribution and logistics.
- Travel as needed for projects, training and/or onsite support.

- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with business emphasis or high school diploma and 4 years of business experience in lieu of a degree.
- Basic understanding of Supply Chain processes and related issues.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel.
- Quantitative and analytical skills.
- Ability to make sound, independent decisions based on functional expertise and experience.
- Ability to administer a proactive approach.
- Ability to provide support, communication and direction to personnel relating to low impact supply chain issues.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve.
Preferred Education and Experience
- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- SAP, EWM, Logility system experience
- Supply Chain Management.
Working Conditions
• Occasional exposure to industrial operations including: temperature extremes from approximately 35ºF to 100ºF; noise levels in excess of 85 dB; moisture and moving machinery.
• Work is performed in an office setting.
