Job Overview
The Pricing Operations Specialist will support the Pricing Operations department in maintaining the pricing and fringe within SAP.
Job Responsibilities
- Compile and summarize all fringe and overage related information from the appropriate related external exchanges for updating or implementing in the ERP system.
- Assist in implementing systems and reporting improvements for measuring and monitoring pricing effectiveness and efficiency.
- Actively participate in determining appropriate list prices, standard discounts and rebates and managing any restructuring, updating, communication, and publication of price increases.
- Engage with cross-functional teams as needed to ensure system accuracy and functionality.
- Cross-train and support the Market Pricing Specialist with daily, weekly, and monthly tasks as needed.
- Investigate pricing discrepancies.
- Provide assistance for major corporate projects and project teams through research and reporting.
- Additional user of CPQ pricing software.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 1 year Pricing experience. A High School Diploma (or equivalent) and a minimum of 5 years Pricing experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communicator.
- Analytical and organized with relentless attention to detail.
- Must be legally authorized to work for a company in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years Pricing, Dairy Market, and/or Commodity Market experience.
- Minimum of 1 year SAP experience.
- Previous experience working in Accounting or Finance.
- Previous experience in the cheese/dairy industry.
- General understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve.
- Ability to make decisions based on standard practices.
- Ability to summarize meaningful information from large data sets.
Working Conditions
• Occasional exposure to industrial operations including: temperature extremes from approximately 35ºF to 100ºF; noise levels in excess of 85 dB; moisture and moving machinery.
• Work is performed in an office setting.
