Pricing Operations Specialist

Job Overview

The Pricing Operations Specialist will support the Pricing Operations department in maintaining the pricing and fringe within SAP.

Job Responsibilities

• Compile and summarize all fringe and overage related information from the appropriate related external exchanges for updating or implementing in the ERP system.
• Assist in implementing systems and reporting improvements for measuring and monitoring pricing effectiveness and efficiency. 
• Actively participate in determining appropriate list prices, standard discounts and rebates and managing any restructuring, updating, communication, and publication of price increases. 
• Engage with cross-functional teams as needed to ensure system accuracy and functionality.
• Cross-train and support the Market Pricing Specialist with daily, weekly, and monthly tasks as needed.
• Investigate pricing discrepancies.
• Provide assistance for major corporate projects and project teams through research and reporting.
• Additional user of CPQ pricing software.  
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 1 year Pricing experience. A High School Diploma (or equivalent) and a minimum of 5 years Pricing experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel. 
• Excellent communicator. 
• Analytical and organized with relentless attention to detail.
• Must be legally authorized to work for a company in the U.S. without sponsorship. 

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years Pricing, Dairy Market, and/or Commodity Market experience. 
• Minimum of 1 year SAP experience.
• Previous experience working in Accounting or Finance. 
• Previous experience in the cheese/dairy industry.
• General understanding of manufacturing processes.  
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve.  
• Ability to make decisions based on standard practices.  
• Ability to summarize meaningful information from large data sets.
