Job Overview

The Master Data Specialist is responsible to perform all functions of the Master Data Group.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and maintain all master data promptly in SAP ensuring accuracy.
  • Setup and maintain all materials in SAP system.
  • Setup and maintain vendors, pricing (backup), EDI records.
  • Setup and maintain customer’s 3rd party portals.
  • Setup and maintain customer records.
  • Setup and maintain maintenance records.
  • Support the master data system for all departments/plants.
  • Collect and store all data information in a central resource.
  • Promote and support the use of accurate and reliable information across the company to enable optimal decision making. 
  • Define and implement data naming standards in SAP system.
  • Communicate to users newly created or updated data.
  • All GLC employees are, expected to perform any assignment or job task according to the stated safety policies and procedures.
  • All GLC employees are expected to produce our products in a manner that exceeds the quality and value expectation of our customers and consumers by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in the our Safe Quality Food Program.
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Required Education and Experience

  • 3 years of master data experience or like experience.
  • 3 years of working SAP experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to communicate and work with diverse user groups.
     

Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, or IT or related field.

Working Conditions

• Occasional exposure to industrial operations including: temperature extremes from approximately 35ºF to 100ºF; noise levels in excess of 85 dB; moisture and moving machinery.
• Work is performed in an office setting.
