Job Overview
The MES Systems Analyst position focuses on supporting, maintaining, enhancing, and implementing manufacturing systems with frequent interaction with business leaders, systems users, and cross-function peers. Responsibilities include PLC support and troubleshooting, application development and support, troubleshooting system related issues and providing technical support in all aspects of shop floor systems (MES, SPC, PLC integration), reporting and analytics. Primary areas of delivery focus upon quality, yield, equipment efficiency, and machine integration
Job Responsibilities
- Provide support for shop floor systems and data integration to and from these systems
- Manage projects for improvements from minor enhancements through to site implementations
- Gain understanding of manufacturing processes and apply this knowledge to existing and new systems solutions
- Work cross functionally with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations on a daily basis to identify, troubleshoot, and solve issues
- Troubleshoot reported problems affecting production in various technical platforms
- Use your initiative and self-motivation combining with a willingness to quickly understand the environment, and work hands on to solve business challenges
- Develop and support Human Machine Interface (HMI) applications
- Configure and support shop floor networks (Layer 2) in conjunction with network engineers
- Be willing and able to provide 24/7 support. Travel up to 30% as projects require

Required Education and Experience
- Possess a High School Diploma and 10 years’ experience working with shop floor systems OR a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field and 5 years’ experience
- Advanced knowledge of remote desktop & ThinManager
- Advanced knowledge of Rockwell (FactoryTalk) solutions
- Advanced knowledge of Aveva WonderWare solutions
- Must be legally authorized to work for a company in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred Education and Experience
- Project Management expertise, ideally including PMP certification
- Technical experience implementing in and supporting a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills
- Self-starter, curious, and inquisitive
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server management and development
- Knowledge of PLC Ladder Logic (AllenBradley)
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot shop floor networks
- Practical knowledge of S88 and S95 ISA Standards
- Practical knowledge of CPwE Design & Implementation
- Familiarity with networking equipment and protocols (Cisco, Stratix)
- Software development skills(C#, MS SQL)
- Knowledge of VMWare solutions (vCenter)
- Knowledge of InfinityQS
