Job Overview
The Director of Sales – Walmart directs, develops, and implements sales
strategies to grow company revenue in accordance with organization goals
and objectives.
Job Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to facilitate business growth.

Review the market position of competing products, services, and organizations.

Strategically execute communication projects to gain market share.

Direct and negotiate contracts in accordance with company standards and business requirements.

Review market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules and discount rates, and develop sales campaigns.

Establish distributor and key/national account relationships and ensures they are managed properly

Oversee and approve sales forecasting.

50% of travel or more.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years sales experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in managing multiple, medium to large, cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
- Must be legally authorized to work for a company in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master’s degree in business or related field.
- In depth understanding of GLC product offerings, customer base and related issues.
- Proficiency working in PROS.
