Job Responsibilities

Take Ownership

  • Complete and process all new hire paperwork and onboarding documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Process weekly payroll, verify employee hours, and coordinate with accounting for timely and accurate compensation.
  •  Track employee attendance and assist with processing time-off requests and related documentation.
  • Prepare employment verification letters and update personnel files for promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date employee records.

Empower People

  • Assist in delivering orientation sessions and provide new hires with essential information about company policies, procedures, and culture.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, and general HR matters in a timely and professional manner.

Drive Collaboration

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews by communicating with candidates and hiring managers.
  •  Provide general administrative support and assist the HR Manager with tasks and projects as assigned.

Embrace Change

 

 

  • Manage employee system access, including password resets and key fob programming, to support technology and facility updates.
  • Support evolving HR processes by maintaining training records and ensuring required forms are completed and filed.

 

Deliver results

  • Facilitate the random drug-testing process in accordance with company policies while maintaining confidentiality.
  •  Ensure all onboarding, payroll, and employee documentation is processed accurately and on time.
  • Support compliance by maintaining complete and accurate files, forms, and training records.

 

Required Education and Experience

  • Basic computer skills.
  • General understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to make decisions based on standard practices.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve.
  • General knowledge of a specialized field; equivalent to 2 years of college, business or technical school or applicable experience.
  • Must be legally authorized to work for a company in the U.S. without sponsorship.


 

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and establish relationships.
  • Strong ability to learn and utilize different systems and programs.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in an office setting.
• Occasional exposure to industrial operations including: temperature extremes from approximately 35ºF to 100ºF; noise levels in excess of 85 dB; moisture and moving machinery.
